Kimekomi (木目込み) is
a traditional Japanese craft originating in the 18th century involving the creation of dolls or decorative items by tucking fabric into carved grooves. Meaning "to tuck into a groove," the technique uses cloth, often silk from kimonos, pressed into a wooden or, in modern, foam base.

This will be a relaxed event, no experience necessary. This event is for people who are craving clarity, creativity, want to re-set, want something meaningful, feel stuck, blah, want to see what the future can offer.

And, You are welcome to bring special items to add to your collage, (pictures, charms, glitter, meaningful words, etc)

Gentle and therapeutic
We provide a space that is safe, peaceful and loving. We welcome all adults to participate in this healing and powerful practice. This event will be lead by Kate Mattleman, LCSW, owner of The Creative Collective by JustBe Farm and Mending Minds, Healing Hearts.
